Room Philosophy
The Possum's room consists of teacher based daily- programmed learning experiences. The educator in this room develops a program that focuses on growing self-confidence, problem-solving skills, self help skills, skill development and independence. The educator's utilities the children’s current interests and identified strengths as well as areas to scaffold and develop to create a holistic program that caters for children collectively and individually. It’s our goal to encourage a positive attitude for learning within the room between all families, children and educators. We do this by providing a rich and meaningful program with opportunities for the families and children to express their ideas and interests.
